About PT Chart — Refrigerant PT Chart Reference

PT Chart provides free, accurate refrigerant pressure-temperature saturation charts for HVAC technicians, engineers, and students. Every data point is calculated using the CoolProp thermodynamic library, which implements the same equations of state used by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).

Data Sources

All thermodynamic data is generated using CoolProp, an open-source library that implements peer-reviewed equations of state for each refrigerant. This is the same computational backend used by many engineering tools and validated against NIST REFPROP data.

Coverage

Our database currently includes 29 refrigerants with a total of 1491 data points. We cover HFC, HFO, natural, and legacy refrigerants including the new R-454B standard.
